3 days of screaming

LO will be 5 months old, 21 weeks, in a few days and she has been soooo cranky!

She is what I would consider a normally easy child, but the last three days nothing makes her happy and she wines all day long and sometimes it turns to screams an tears!

She has been eating solids, pedi approved, and trying new ones every 4 days, and has been fine for weeks, but could it possibly be that?

Could it be teething? I know it hard to tell as each baby is so unique, but she is so inconsolable!

The weird thing is... She sleeps 12 hour nights, not waking once, which is normal for her, and naps as scheduled. Even nurses fine!

You can see the ridges of the two bottom teeth on the backside of her gums, but I wouldn't say its bumps or red or anything! Just an "outline" of a tooth. I don't know if its new or not?

I feel at a loss. Nothing makes her happy!

I'm so sorry! Hugs to you! It's so hard to know with these little guys. I would say it's an overly tired thing (like it is at my house) but that can't be it. My only suggestion is to call the pedi if it continues much longer.

We've been dealing with a similar situation. Teething is a very likely possibility. Give her a teether and see if that helps. It helped immensely with J. 

I also have decided to delay introducing any new foods right now. He had bananas first, and had several runny stools and a bright red anal rash for a few days. If she's not having any stool changes, excessive gas, rashes, etc. then I'd say she's doing fine with solids and it's more likely teething. 

Finally, I also take a quick temperature when he seems out of sorts just cuz you never know! Good luck mama! I have found that for us, five months is a hard age!
