NBR: Job Woes

I've been sending resumes for potential new jobs since I was on my maternity leave. I probably started in May. If I had to guess, I would estimate that I have sent out between 15 and 20 resumes. And not to toot my own horn, but I have a pretty impressive resume.

I've heard back on ONE job. I did go all through the interview process, ultimately didn't get it, but the irony is that I was completely NOT qualified for the job. Not at all surprised I didn't get it and for the life of me can't believe that's the one that I heard back on....

I am SO discouraged. Almost every week I am finding myself in a rut and it's not pretty. I used to love my job, but then I was part of a company sale.  Even then I still loved it b/c they tweaked my responsibilities and I wound up liking them more, however everything started going downhill when I got pregnant. Now I'm miserable. I hate the culture here and pre-sale days we were part of a generous bonus program, without it, it's turned into a minimum 15% annual paycut. I can't sugar coat it - THAT SUCKS, especially with a daycare bill.

I am longing to get back into a large company, make more money, hopefully get a bonus again, feel more stable at work (oh yeah, they also keep picking people off in this office - two more layoffs just today, this place is a sinking ship)..... and feel rejuvenated.... I'm so ready for a change and am ready to bang my head against the wall that I'm getting NO WHERE.

Ok, WAHing over. I am grateful that I have a steady paycheck coming in, just to be clear.

IVF #1 - July 2012 - Stims start 7/2, ER 7/12, 20 retrieved, 16 mature, 13 fertilized!
ET - 7/17 - 1 blast transferred. Beta - 7/26 273, Beta 2 7/30 - 1143. Beta 3 8/6 - 11,597
12/25 - Santa tells us "IT'S A GIRL!" EDD - April 4th

Stims start 11/28/14, ER December 10th, 13 eggs retrieved, 11 mature, only 4 fertilized 

1 Blast Transferred on December 15th..... Beta Christmas Eve... Please Santa, bring me a baby!

Beta #1 345.....Beta #2....750/ First U/S 1/13/15/HB 131....EDD 9/2/2015

    Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born. 

    6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived

    10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP

    IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c
    IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN
    IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP!
    beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75
    beta #2 11/28 = 2055
    Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012!
    Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!

    Me too because it makes me think things are being filled internally, or being posted and then held off on..... It's enough to make me want to bang my head against the wall :(

    I am so sorry that nothing has come along. I hope you find something soon! Do you have a LinkedIn profile? A recruiter just contacted me after seeing my profile. I was quite surprised, but it makes sense.

    Grayson arrived via emergency c-section on 7/28/12!

    TTC #2 
    IUI's #1 - #4 Follistim = BFN's
    IVF #1 w/ ICSI + PGS: Lupron/Follistim/Menopur
    ER 4/13 - 19R, 13F, 4 PGS tested embryos, 1 normal
    5/14 FET: BFP. Beta #1: 123, Beta #2: 327, Beta #3: 854
    Cora arrived 1/23/15 via RCS!

    @mdiblasi10 - I do have one. No nibbles though, only about a year and a half ago when I wasn't looking; of course!
