Joovy Caboose Too Ultralight Stand-On Tandem Stroller

It supposedly allows the older child to sit in a seat or stand on the back.  It has a seat for the younger child and also adapts to fit infant carriers.  Anyone have the Joovy Caboose Too already?  Do you like it?

Our older child turns 3 just before the new baby is due. There will definitely be circumstances when he is too tired to walk, and I also can imagine wanting to confine him more than a simple standing platform would allow (e.g. when he's acting rambunctious in a crowd, shopping center, etc).  Looking for something that works well for both kids as the older one gradually gets both more independent and more willing to follow instructions. What kind of stroller are moms with a similar age gap between their little ones planning to use?

  • The regular joovy caboose has a bench seat with seatbelt. It is fine for my 3 year old.
  • You might go look at it in the store. The seat is like a clip on attachment and there is not much room for their feet...especially if they are tall. The salesperson at Buy Buy Baby did say its one of their most popular doubles sold behind the City Select.

  • It is good, not perfect of course.  Pros are it is lightweight, easy to store (takes up less space than most doubles), and pretty easy to push.  With a newborn, the con is it can not ride in either seat until a few months old, so you have to put them in the carseat and that makes the back seat unusable-2nd child can still stand and ride.  The storage compartment is also pretty unusable(can always get stroller hooks for bags) and the shade doesn't really cover both kids.  My 3 going on 4 yr old doesn't mind the back seat (we told him he could be a secret spy in the back) but it is a bit cramped.  I find the pros were most important to me so I like it.
