Hating bath time?

Owen has always LOVED bath time. If he was fussy & nothing else was working, we would put him in the tub & he would instantly be in a good mood again. We started CIO & it has worked like a charm. He now sleeps 11-12 hours/night with no wake-ups & goes down without a problem. The kid practically is jumping out of your arms to get to bed now. We used to have to rock him & shhh him forever & so this is now completely different.

Here's my problem.. since starting CIO, he has loathed bath time. Our routine has stayed the same.. bath, lotion & PJs, bottle, bed. If you start running the water, he will cry so hard & then you put him in, & he is trying to climb out of the tub. Once he's in there for a few minutes, he calms down & plays & then doesn't want to get out. Those first few minutes though are rough though.

What can I do? Now that he doesn't even cry at bedtime (or naps for that matter), I don't know what's going on. I got him some new bath toys today to see if that would help, but it didn't.

Maybe it's his way of resisting bedtime? H has started to do something similar recently - not with bath time, but crying at the beginning of bedtime routine.
