I've become quite the POAS aholic after TTC for a little over two years now! I figured this was a better place to ask this question since those of you here have had some succes in the TTC arena....congrats to all! Today I thought I got a very faint second line, but am really not sure. I'm afraid my wishful thinking is causing me to see lines that aren't there lol. Has anyone gotten a BFN at 12DPO and found out later they were in fact prego?

    If you got a faint positive then more than likely it is a BFP! I'd POAS tomorrow and see if it gets darker. Congrats!

    On the morning of my 1st beta, I POAS and the line was so faint I thought it was negative and cried the whole day.  Wait for the beta instead of driving yourself nuts!  Sometimes late implanters have low numbers so they don't show up on the HPT so well.  Good luck and most likely congrats!

    POAS tests are qualitative not quantitative. As long as you read the results within the recommended timeframe I would guess it's a BFP! I never had a dark line and my first beta was really high at 810. I called the manufacturer and that's when they told me it's not a quantitative test, so any line is a positive for hCG.
