What does everyone think of Carys? Does it flow with Elyse?

Middle name Mae or Marie?

I think it's okay with Elyse.  I really don't like it -- it looks like you're trying way too hard to be cool.  If you use Carys, I'd go with Marie as a middle name, though both Mae and Marie feel like filler middle names.

I think Carys sounds great with Elyse. I prefer the MN Mae (one of my favorite names ever).

Carys gets a lot of love here, but it also gets a lot of pronunciation questions as well.

Is it just me, or do they rhyme? They sound so similar on the end, I great rhyming when I say them outloud.

No rhyming. It's Care-Iss, rhymes with Paris.

OP, I love love the name Carys and think it pairs nicely with Elyse. (The fact that they both have a Y is a little matchy looking, but no big deal). My only "concern" with the name is pronunciation. If you are okay with you and DD often having to explain, then go for it. If that will bother you, you should maybe think of something else.

I like Carys Marie a lot and it's better than Carys Mae which blend together and almost sound like you're saying charisma or something.
