Middle name for Hazel?

I am racking my brain to find a good middle name to go with Hazel. Hazel is a family name and my husband is stuck on it. I would have preferred a less feminine name or a first and middle name that can be shortened to C.J. or M.J. H.J. doesn't really work. Any ideas for a middle name? Or should we start from scratch?

He might go for it as a middle name but then we're back at square one picking a first name! We're really hoping for a boy - we agreed on maverick 5 years ago. Totally top gun I know, but we both are in love with it. I like hazel Marie. These are all really good suggestions!

I love Hazel. My husband vetoed it:( also can isay I love Josephine as a middle. I guess it depends on your last name if that sounds good.

My Hazel Ann is due on Halloween.
A lot of middle names starting with vowels kind of run together with the name Hazel so if you don't like that I would go with

Hazel Grace or Hazel Monroe.

My Hubby likes Hazel Ann because he says it sounds a little bit country. She can go by Hazelann, Ann, Annie, or her initials will be HAT so she can even go by Hattie.

We also liked Hazel Lynn. It can run together too.
