My kiddo is sick, again

C is on his 2nd cold in 3 weeks.  Snotty nose, bad cough.  No ear infection as of now.  I just feel so bad that when he gets sick he's this awful hacking cough of a mess.

Other than his array of drugs (inhalers and allergy meds), any suggestions to make things better? Or limit these colds?  I'm open to anything other than leeching.  Ew.  That's gross.

Hot showers/baths and OJ are in our daily routines.

Coldez for kids. It really works. It won't stop him from getting a cold but it will shorten it. And I'd you can get him to eat raw garlic, half a small piece once a day will stop him from getting sick.

Ugh, poor C. Have you taken him to an allergist? G has some borderline food allergies and once we limited foods that effect her most of her respitory symptoms improved.

We've been seeing an allergist for around 6 months. We did an environmental screen but not a food one. He had an appt next month and I'll ask about it!

His regular pedi gave us a script for a liquid steroid if his inhaler wasn't cutting it. I gave him his first dose this morning and he's barely coughed since. I hope that fixes things this round.
