Skull theory. Just for the fun of it :)

Hi. We are waiting to find out the gender of our second, as we did with our first.

BUT -- I am intrigued about 'skull theory' and how a babies skull can indicate male or female.

Just for the fun of it, anyone want to guess what baby 2 (due around January 10 2014) looks like based on the skull in these pictures from 19ish weeks. Oh and even more fun, if you have a pic of your babies skull and know if it's boy or girl, feel free to post here for comparison.

Honestly, I have never heard of this and wouldn't even know where to start to determine what the sex is. You may want to edit your pictures to hide your full name though.

I'm with BalletLover, never heard of it and there is no way I could even decipher the level of detail needed to compare each component in an u/s.

I did click on your link and it didn't help me.  I am not a good u/s reader, it is very hard for me to tell specifically what is what in most u/s.  Your pictures were pretty clear and I still could not tell what skull shape I was supposed to be looking at.  Sorry.

that's such a bizarre theory--  I'm just not sure you could tell by a baby's skull (adult...maybe).  But yours does seem to be a little skinnier- so I'll say girl?  haha who knows- ultrasounds are so tough!

I've never heard of this either but I'll say girl bc of the forehead.
