motn feed....duration?

How long does your motn feed usually last? (My lo could be up anywhere from half an hour to 2 hours before going back down.)

  • about 20 minutes

  • about 20-30 min.  mine have been longer if i don't change his diaper first before feeding or if i make too much eye contact.  i keep the lights off even when changing his diaper and i think that helps him understand that its time to sleep and not be awake.

  • 20 min or less... I don't change him or turn on any lights... I feed him - when he's done eating or has fallen asleep, I put him down and go back to bed.

  • About 30 minutes for me, including a diaper change. Sometimes longer, if I've picked up my kindle and am in the middle of a good chapter:)
  • 5-10 minutes usually...I think it's more for comfort than anything else b/c he's so quick I can't imagine he's getting that much milk. I don't do diaper changes either. Just quick feeding and put back down. We're down to 1 wake up per night (I think! At least the last 3 nights have been this way)

  • Usually abut 20 minutes - I feed him in the dark and then put him back down. If he wakes too close to when he would normally get up for the day, it takes longer, and then I may only be able to get him back down in his swing.
