Dying to POAS

I had some spotting on Saturday mid morning through Sunday mid morning. Cramping all day Sunday. Took a test when I notice the spotting...stupid me...it was of course BFN. So I'm really trying to hold out to test THIS Saturday...when AF is due. Just looking for positive support and similar stories. We've been at this for 10 months...and I'm getting nervous I'll have to go to RE. Thanks for listening!

I'm 9dpo. Thanks for the reply...trying to talk myself out of going to the drugstore right now. LOL!

I've found it's best not to have any tests in the house- otherwise I will use them when I know I shouldn't ! Easier said then done!

9 dpo is early to test. If AF doesn't show by 14 dpo I would test again. I know it's hard to wait but seeing a BFN is harder I think.

Don't test!! wait till Saturday because if its negative you will be upset...so IMHO hold out!! Try notto drive yourself crazy!

Thanks for all the replies. My husband said we could buy new living-room furniture so I've been distracted with that for now. I think I can wait til Saturday! Best of luck to all of you ladies!!

It's always better to have a pretty sure negative on a later date than testing for days because you're telling yourself it might be too early (IMO). Congrats on the new furniture!

Well, if you don't get your bfp, you have been ttc 10 mos and you are over 35, it may be time to see an RE. It is recommended that 35 yr olds see a doctor after 6 mos of ttc. It was hard for me to accept this, because I kept reading an England statistic that said something like 90% of 35 yr olds ttc would become pregnant in two years. But, my issues with spotting eventually convinced me that I needed help. My RE discovered I had endometriosis, a cyst on my ovary and a few other issues I can't remember. Now, my uterus & ovaries are in good shape. I'm glad I took action.

I completely understand your wanting to POAS but I too would suggest to wait.  Better for the morale.

I can take a test on Sunday. I'm dying too! I want to go send my hubby to the pharmacy now. it's so hard waiting. I threw up today and I have heart burn. lol May all be in my head.

Well, I POAS, BFN. Oh well. Unfortunately, I don't O regularly...so now I'm thinking I may not have O'd when I thought I did (I don't BBT because I have enough trouble trying to remember to match my shoes in the A.M.). I never got a positive OPK back when I thought I O'd but I chalked that out to the timing of the testing. So I OPK'd on Friday and got a faint positive..so we bd a few times over the weekend. I'm really hoping now that AF doesn't show up for 2 more weeks. If not, I am seeing my OB/GYN next month. Best of luck to you! Praying for your BFPs!
