  • LOL.  I know what you mean.

  • This board and a couple others are very nice. I checked out some other ones and they were scary! I have better things to do than fight with people online or fight at all!

    Exactly!

  • I agree! And all I have to say is "finally!"  Some people can be a bit cruel on these panels but so far, I've seen nothing but nice posts here. I'm moving in. ;0)
  • It is like night and day. This board is so helpful and no drama. Wow, some other boards, the poor newbies get lectured at for everything.

I guess being older has its perks. Lol less drama. Thanks for being here ladies!!!

  • This board is very nice to each other, and there have been times when a newbie comes on completely clueless and even then she gets solid info to direct her, not snarky attitude about her being an idiot (even if she is  ;) )

  • Hi All!

I signed in after 1.5 years to respond to this post and I do agree!  I have been reading and pleasantly surprised to see how NICE everyone is on here.  I first posted on a couple of these boards almost 2 years ago after I had a m/c.  I couldn't believe how catty, how cruel or just plain disrespectful some girls were.  It scared me away from boards forever.  Or so I thought.  My friend raves about the boards here and I am glad she told me to give it another try!
  • I completely agree!  I'm really of the belief that women have an ability to support, uplift and empathize with one another in an extremely powerful way.  This board is proof of that.  While I may have had an absence after I got my BFP, I always checked in and lurked.  I was a little sad that I wasn't a "member" over here anymore and wanted to bring everyone of your with me.  Ifound the PG35+ board really nice as well and Parenting 35+ is good, too.

But this board is really something special.  It just is.  I hope it never changes.
    ~Married 11/08~

  • This is a great board because of all the great women on it.  It feels like a second home where you can just be yourself and be supported in all the daily struggles of this sometimes impossible journey. And to boot it's all done without judgement.

Thanks to all who make it such a special place!

    Another great comment from @PrivateOne.

On this board, I'm more inclined to freely express myself.  I just want to talk about what's happening with me with others who are going through the same thing and give support the best way I can.  No dramz. haha

Don't worry, I'm working on it.

  • I agree. I saw a new poster on another board get chewed out for posting a question. I've seen other boards with outrageous rules about what you can say and when you can say it and why. I've just posted a vent or two and was so glad no one chewed me out!

    xoxo

  • On42...that was me a couple years ago.. Totally chewed out for asking a simple question (as i wasn't sure I was having a miscarriage at first).  I couldn't believe people could be so cruel to others.  Sorry that goes on i guess still on another board. I am just glad i found THIS one.
Love a place where nobody judges.

    Good luck everyone!!
  • I came in here clueless and am still floundering around terminology and etiquette but thankfully no one was rude. It's nice that ppl understand everyone starts somewhere and don't make it all about them.
  • Completely agree - I only just joined but its been very supportive! >:D<
