Are your LOs still swinging away? I'm thinking about getting rid of his. He's never been much of a swing baby. It was more of a place to set him down really...
We still use our swings for naps. But one of them only has a lap buckle and she somehow figured out how to get out when I was in the shower and when I came out, she was on the floor just cooing away talking to the empty swing! Talk to me about horrible mom moment! I felt so bad. But luckily, the swing is barley a foot off the ground and she landed on thick carpet!
We just put ours away today. Our Lo never cared too much for it and it was in my way so we sent it to the basement. Some of my friends los used theirs for way longer.
We don't use the swing very often any more. It seems dangers when LO can roll now. I took it out of our living room and was going to disassemble it but haven't broken down and done it yet.
We had to put ours away last month. DD loved her swing but she got too big and heavy for it. I had to have it on the highest speed just to get it to move!
We still use ours for early morning naps. He will also swing while I have breakfast. It is very sturdy with a five point harness, and we are nowhere near the weight limit.
Miscarriage in January 2012 at 8 weeks
Subsequently diagnosed with low P4, LOR. MH DX low motility, varicocele
BFP in July 2012 (Gonal-f + trigger + IUI#2 (B2B) + prometrium)
Lost Baby A prior to 7 weeks; large SCH; Baby B (Bug) was born in March 2013
We stopped using ours once we got a bouncer. Jake seems so much more entertained and interested in the bouncer than the swing, so we haven't touched the swing in quite a while.
we upgraded to the exercauser. she use love it and still liked it for a little while and an occasional nap. Now she wants more freedom and is loving her new toy.

All of a sudden DS hates the swing, so I'm considering getting rid of it (this is our last). I have to check the weight limits anyway, he's a big boy :P
Well... We thought we were right there, to the point of getting rid of it since he hadn't been in there for weeks.
Turns out Monkey loved his impromptu swing time this afternoon, just as I was about to go crazy from trying to get him to sleep (broken naps will be broken). Since he's 17lbs and the weight limit is 25lbs... We'll be keeping it a few more weeks. Maybe even months. I can't wait to send it to the attic. Hideous ginormous thing!

I'm dreading the day LO is too big for the swing. Not going to quit it cold-turkey until I HAVE to!
