Formula Question

My LO is on Similac with Iron. She is 3 weeks old and when it comes time to fart she whines really bad almost cries...when it comes to pooping its very soft and she only grunts... Wondering if I should be switching formulas or if that sounds normal to everyone else's babies?

    Gas can be really uncomfortable. There are formulas that are for sensitive stomachs but I would discuss with her pedi first. You can also try bottles that are supposed to cut down on the air they get I think Dr Browns is one. Gripe water or mylicon gas drops may help as well.

    Like PP said, I would try gas drops before switching formulas.

    My dd was having tons of gas pains that would make her cry in pain and draw her legs up all the time when she was on the similac advance , we switched her to the similac sensitive which helped for a bit but now we are mixing the sensitive with the total comfort
