Successful Saturday

So, I have been thinking about starting this post for a while... And finally I decided no time like the present!
I feel like while TTC, sometimes we feel, that the only important success is getting pregnant or not. So I wanted to start a post where we can explore successes that aren't necessarily related to TTC. Any takers? What are some things that were successful for you this week?

Great idea!

I started eating better.  I started PT for my hip.  We just weeded and mulched some of the gardens, which is a project that's been dragging on all summer.

I went to a used book sale and spent $20...for like 30 books Also, I have drastically reduced my eating and am thrilled about that. 

P.S. This is a wonderful idea!

I took a nap today. I know that sounds silly, but it's an accomplishment for me to relax, check out and just listen to my body (which apparently was tired!). Lazy Saturday: Accomplished!

This week we successfully stayed healthy all week, but then allowed ourselves to not feel guilty eating some delicious junk food at a local festival!

I love this idea!

My success was making it thru this week.  Working both jobs, having a friend in town, hosting two gatherings at our house, RE appointment and insemination was absolutely exhausting!  Of course I am now sick with a bad cold :-(  But I managed to get it all together to make an appearance at my moms graduation/house warming party.

I successfully survived my first Lupron shot this morning! I know today is technically a new week, but that is still my success story. 2 weeks of lupron injections and then I start follistim. Oh man, let the fun begin!

I have started that 30 Ab/Squat challenge and I am happy that I have been able to stick to it and do the work out. I truly hate working out but it is getting easier and knowing what exactly needs to be done makes the work out process a little faster. Also have been really focusing on crocheting I just made a dog sweater for my little 5 pound short hair pup for the cold weather, I even have a few people that are looking for me to make them some items so it feels great to have a hobby that I really like and others also want to enjoy my items.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I had a successful work week.  I'm the lead policy analyst in a division of 5 policy writers.  Poor planning led to 4 of them being off at the same time during a very busy time of year.  I finalized and coordinated the distribution of 20+ documents during the last couple days of the work week.  I'm making up for it by having a lazy weekend, which almost never happens.

It kinda feels like this whole week has been yard sale prep! But yesterday M and I had a successful day 1 of the yard sale. Now we are busy with day 2, which is clearance day! Everything must go! Bonus of today, a woman offered us $25 for a clunker of an old TV that we were planning to mark as free if it didn't sell for $5!

Although I ate kind of crappy the last two days, (not as bad as my old "normal" eating, but not as great!) my sugar was the lowest it's been since I started checking it again Not fantastically low, or as low as K's, but still great for me!

I did really well on my low carbs this week. I feel as though this was successful. I also managed to drag myself to the gym even when I didn't want to go....which is always! I hate working out but this week was bearable...

I hate working out too!  I do it (usually) but I have to drag myself.  I try to think of it like taking medicine -- I just need to do it to be healthy.  Although if I could actually take a pill that would give me the health benefits of exercise, that would be awesome!
