Trouble TTC

TMI warning... CM question.

So I have been monitoring my CM on a daily basis for quote some time now, needless to say I'm fairly familiar with my bodies normalities when it comes to CM at this point. Normally, after O, I start to dry up and/or get creamy white CM. I am now 9DPO and have noticed that i am not drying up, I'm staying pretty wet, and while it isn't EWCM, it is plentiful. Yesterday and today I have had slightly yellowish CM. I have never had this before. Has anyone else had any experience with this?

Re: TMI warning... CM question.

  • My first question is how do you know that you are 9DPO? Is it possible that you ovulated a little later? FWIW, I used to have creamy CM everyday after ovulation until my period would start. My EWCM always had a slight yellow tint to it.

  • I guess you're right. I did have two positive OPKs this cycle, crazy! If I go off the first one I would be 9dpo, if I go off the second one I'd be 3 or 4 dpo. But since theres no EWCM to accompany the second positive OPK as there was with the first, im assuming the first one was the real one. Thanks for the input. I've just never had much CM after O, if any at all, and ive never had a yellowish tint to it at all. Im sure its fine, I just get worried when something is out of the norm for me. Ill probably call the doc on Monday if its still there and make an appointment to be sure its not an infection of any kind. Its scary, cause most everything I found on google about yellowish CM mentioned infection and std's! Thanks for letting me know that I'm not the only one who's had it though, that does ease my worries a little!
