Health & Exercise

I'm new to the board, I noticed most of you are talking about exercise but it says health as well. So I was wondering if there are any other mommas dealing with anxiety and ptsd(for whatever reason). How do you manage your day with LO and not have panic attacks? Any ideas how to relax and calm down, I need a hobby but has to be one that doesn't cost much. TIA.

  • Welcome! I have no experience with either of those things, just wanted to say hello. This board is super friendly, but it is slow at times so it may take a bit to get your question answered.

  • Interestingly enough exercise has been shown to help almost all types of emotional disorders especially depression and anxiety.


    Running is a great,cheap hobby....
  • I've had anxiety for 5 years and eventually had to take medication for it.  As far as calming down I highly recommend yoga.  All the deep breathing really helps relax and center myself.
