Back to the NICU...for a visit!

We went to return the breast pump today so we stopped in the NICU and were so happy that our 2 favorite nurses and our favorite neonatologist were there!! We took pictures and everyone talked about how chubby DD's cheeks and thighs are. I got a little emotional in the car on the way home because I'm so happy we're done with that but I remember it all so vividly, like I'm still living it. My heart goes out to all the mamas with their babies still in the NICU. Soon it will be a memory!

    You're better than I! When I went to return my pump, i basically ducked my way past the NICU. I'm just not ready yet...but plan to in the future. So glad it was a positive experience for you, tears and all!!

    Oh man I don't think I could have done that!  I have to take DS to doc appts at the hospital, and hope we run into his nurse when we're there, but at the cafeteria, not in the NICU lol!
    Welcomed our baby boy Henry on March 15, 2013 (7 weeks early!)
