I posted this on the birth month board, but thought I would check here too. My son is 6 1/2 months old and we just started baby food this week. He's been doing oatmeal cereal for about a month now and tolerates it ok for the most part. I started sweet potatoes on Monday and I've noticed the past couple of days, he's been really cranky, and up in the middle of the night with what seems to be a reflux flareup. Has any others had any experience with sweet potatoes causing the reflux to become bad? What are some good foods to try with reflux babies?
DS had horrible reflux. I found he had a resurgence around 6 mo when he started rolling and getting more mobile and using those core muscles. Some of the foods he loves and tolerates- green beans, peas, pears, applesauce. Peaches seemed to bother him, and avoid anything orange as it stains when they spit up!
