ERy's nursery is small in our new place. His crib is on the only wall where it fits. It was closer to the outlet where the monitor is, until he decided he would reach out and unplug it once at nap time.

Now the crib is closer to the light switch that controls the monitor and night light. This morning he figured out how to turn off the monitor. Did it again right now at nap time. Ugh.

Can't move the crib. Need to figure out a clever way to hide the light switch. Or maybe just put something over the monitor plug? Idk.

Good call.
Right now we have a nightlight by the monitor to give it enough light for us to see. I guess I could cover up the outlet and take out the light because a monitor where I can't see him well is better than not having a monitor at all.

We have the outlet covers linked above, but we also have one lightswitch that has a cover over it so you can't touch the actual switch.I can't find a link but it's from Home Depot or someplace.
