Happy Friday! Plans for the w/e?

Happy Friday ladies!  Sorry I've been slacking on our Friday/weekend posts.  

Are there any new mamas who joined us lately?  Big welcome to all of you!

Good luck to those TTCing or awaiting results.  T&Ps to those who need them.  Get well wishes to those who are sick.

Do you have any exciting plans for this weekend?  Summer is drawing a close, so I hope you all get to go out and enjoy!

QOTW: Did you go on a summer vacation this year (or will be going on one before summer ends)?  Where did you go and whom did you go with?

M and I are going to a playdate/lunch today.  These are 3 other ladies I met at BF support group at the start.  2 of them work (but have Fridays off), so we've been getting together once every 4-6 months.  It's fun to watch our LOs grow!

Tomorrow we're driving 1.5hrs to CT to visit DH's uncle & aunt.  MIL/FIL are meeting us there.  SIL is coming with us in the car.  

Sunday, hopefully, will be a relaxing day.  We've been entertaining family and friends nonstop for the past 6 weekends and I just want a day off, KWIM?

QOTW: no summer vacation for us. Was thinking of going to Montreal, but the idea of a 6-hr drive with M strapped in the carseat isn't appealing.  Hoping that DH can take a day off here and there so we can do some day trips.

Well today I have a hair appointment, I'm very excited! I'm going to donate my hair. Hanging out with my bestie tonight.

No set plans for the rest of the weekend.

I have Pilates Saturday morning. Then I'm working for awhile Saturday and Sunday.

I have a massage GC that expires at the end of the month. I really want to use it this weekend, but I'm thinking I waited too long to book. Sigh. 

Edit: qotw. We went to NH to my BILs wedding. It wasn't a true vacation because we worked hard to help with the wedding stuff.

I got good news that I only have to go into work today if I am called so I get an unexpected day home with LO! Makes up for the fact I work on Sunday. No big plans. Just kicking around doing house stuff. Hopefully our house sale closes today too. QOTW: we went on a house hunting trip to the province DH is from. It wasn't particularly relaxing but that was our big trip for the year.

Happy Friday!!!! I am SO happy it's Friday  

The only plans we have right now are dinner and a movie on Sunday night with my father in law. This weekend is supposed to be pretty hot so we will probably spend some time at our pool. I also want to take Grayson somewhere new, like a museum or a new park. It's fun to take advantage of his walking skills and take him new places. 

QOTW: No vacations until October. We are going to Disney World with our friends and their two little boys. I can't wait!!!

Today is a great day Just got released from my RE so now I can see an OB!

QOTW: Did you go on a summer vacation this year (or will be going on one before summer ends)?  Where did you go and whom did you go with?

Yep for a week in Bethany Beach with DS, DH and two friends. Won't do the friends without kids again because now it's too different with a 17 month old. I left every single morning to walk for two hours to keep my son from waking them up. Then they wanted to go to bars every night and since my husband came three days late due to work no one would help me bring my huge canopy thing for the beach for DS because they were too lazy to help me. So either next time only friends with kids or just my fam.

I feel ya on this. Been three years since we went on a trip since it depleted our savings as well since we had zero insurance coverage. Didn't do IVF but IUI with drugs still cost a crazy amount. Def tough

Tomorrow we have a bday party for my niece- which will probably turn into an all day afair since DH's family is inovled

Sunday I think I am going to take my LO to my moms to meet my great aunts and I"d love to get to church. I have not been since LO was born and I really need to get her baptized in the near future.

Probably a low key weekend - DH is dealing with some shi* at work right now - which has knocked me into a huge funk today Typically the weekend would be just what I need to snap out of it, but doesn't seem to be doing it today.... I'm frustrated.

Oh man! Can't imagine paying oop For everything! PGD and most meds were oop for us. Our ins covered some ivf and few meds. All together we paid $16000 oop. But every sent was worth it! And they say money can't buy happiness...they obviously never went through IF!!

Oh of course!! We feel the same.

I am SO happy it's Friday! No plans this weekend. I'm hoping to get in a spin class or two, but O will determine that for me. ;

QOTW: No vacations until January. we're going to Florida to visit both sets of our parents and my brother (who is a paraplegic and can't travel far yet). I haven't seen him in 1.5 years since we started the IVF process. Not to mention I had to stay local for all the IUI bloodwork, etc. excited to show him his nephew!

I work nights and weekends so I worked last night, and I am working tomorrow during the day.  DH took the kids to his parents beach house this weekend, so I am feeling very strange sitting in my house all alone!  Tomorrow is a wash since I will be working all day, but Sunday morning, I am planning on going for a run or to the gym, then maybe to church (we hardly ever bring the kids - too much chaos!).  The kids should be home late morning.  I already miss them terribly and they just left at 1:30pm!!  But I am going to enjoy the uninterrupted sleep

QOTW:  We went for a week away with my family to a rented lake house in July, and then went to my IL's beach house for a week in early August.  It was nice to have help with the kiddos on vacation!

I am going to work in my classroom one day this weekend, maybe tomorrow to get it over with. I've been in training/in service all week and will be again next week. Meet the teacher is Wednesday night so I've got to finish up and get it all straightened out. Other than that, just one last quiet weekend before school starts up without any planning involved.

No vacations for us this year but we are planning a couple of beach trips in September/October depending on when H's surgery will be.

This is the first weekend since MAY that we have NOTHING planned.  I'm giving my son to my husband for 48 hours straight and going to try to get this whole potty training thing done once and for all with my daughter!  Argh.

We are visiting my parents this weekend and taking DD to a kiddie amusement park this morning. It should be fun even though DH and I both have a cold. It's nice to relax at my parents house since this was a really busy week at work.

QOTW: DH and I went to Door County for 3 days over the 4th of July. It wasn't a big trip, but still nice to get away.
