 Congrats to everyone that has made it to this check-in! A big congrats to those that are graduating to 2nd tri!!! If there are any other newcomers that would like to be added to the list, post below and include your EDD (I will add you to next week's list). Check-ins are on Fridays and feel free to post your updates here up until the 14th week. (((HUGS))) To those that need them.

QOTW: If you have planned a "coming out" event, whether it be on FB or just to family and friends, when do you plan to do it and how creative are you getting? For those that have already come out, how did it go down?

I am 11 weeks tomorrow, but was measuring ahead 3 days at the RE yesterday.  Next week will be my last RE appointment and I got the okay to start cutting down on meds as of today.  I can't believe that in a few weeks I will be moving on to the 2nd tri!

QOTW: I had a talented friend work her photoshop skills to create our FB announcement, which I plan to post in a few weeks.  We are using the Knocked Up movie poster and she put our heads on their bodies...it is too funny.  Most of our close friends and family already know.

Wow, felt good to see graduated by my name! I'm 14 weeks on Sunday and so far things are going well! Had a lot of testing, mostly because of my history and also because I turned 35 in July.(how awful is the term adavanced maternal age!) maternit21 test came back with great results and that we are having a boy! Passed our early anatomy scan and NT scan. I will see you lovelies over at 2nd tri! Qotd: telling people little by little after getting results from all the testing. Telling people gives me anxiety (again, die to my history) but my husband loves telling people so I'm trying to suck it up for him. He comes up with ways of announcing, we have snap chatted pics and notes, wrote it on a piece of paper and hand it to people etc... Nothing huge but cute.

AH! I graduated from 1st tri. OMG!

14w on Sunday. Not much to report. Still dealing with evening nausea and it's getting old. If I'm dealing with it by our 16w appt I'll ask for some meds to help. I've become a terrible marriage partner as far as household chores and you can forget meal planning. I'm just a little hummingbird sipping gently on the life giving nectar of cold cereal and milk so Mister D's usual mealtime fare is severely suffering.

QOTD: My family has known since our 2nd beta. We'll share the news with Mister D's dad, sister's family and Danish family next weekend (15w). Then I'm telling my boss early that next week and telling work that Friday, the 30th. We've composed a truthful email/FB post. Nothing creative, just something heartfelt. I'll share it here when we do it. Though Mister D and I are both creative, I feel our struggles and losses stole the unique excitement from us and I know how badly announcements stung when we were hurting, so I'm trying to be as sensitive as I can be in ours.

I'll be 11 weeks on Sunday. I can't believe I'm almost in second tri already! And I really hope I'm one of the women whose nausea disappears in 2nd tri.
My first ob appt is on Tuesday. They told me I may not get an u/s but I think I'll push for one for my own peace of mind.
We've told our families. Gave our parents an u/s pic. My dad cried and he never cries. It was really sweet. My sister is so excited. No Facebook announcement plans yet.

So far so good! And by good, I mean tired and nauseous as hell! I have my prenatal workup on August 26th, and hoping they will do another ultrasound so I can see the bebe again!

 

QOTD: I don't plan on telling anyone until at least 12 weeks. I have already told my immediate family, but when we announce it to the world it will probably be something via facebook. Looking forward to reading more posts on this thread because I need ideas!

Nothing new here I'm 10 weeks and have my NT scheduled for the 27th. I started cutting back on my estrogen. My butt is super lumpy and sore from the pio cant wait to stop those in 2 weeks.

QOTD: We haven't announced to anyone yet. We are planning on telling family and friends after the first tri screening. Still contemplating how were going to announce.

6w today! Dh got to come with for today's u/s. Twin a has a HB! Twin b is still lagging behind but we saw their fetal pole today

Qotd: haven't really announced yet. We wanted to know there were hbs before telling our parents. A few people that know our issues and about ivf know but that's it. I want to do something fun and creative, dh is like...why can't we just tell them? Lol

I had my second ultrasound Wed at 7w3d and still looking good! HB was 143. It feels good to have gotten further than last time but I really just want to make it past graduation day on Tuesday. Really hoping things are still going ok.

Our immediate families know since they know I was doing ivf. I think I will start telling good friends after the 1st tri. I am thinking about annoucing on facebook around halloween time and I'll be 18-19 weeks then and hopefully know the sex. Not sure what we will do though.

Not much to update on for me! I will be 9weeks tomorrow. Just waiting to hear back on dates for NT scan and to meet with MFM. My first OB appointment is 09/16. I kind of thought it would be earlier, but that was the first appointment they had available in september. Looking forward to whenever our next US will be. Maybe I will actually enjoy the next one instead of being a hot mess of tears!

QOTD: A lot more people know already than I had intended. Our immediate families and 3 of my good friends know. I ended up coming out at work already because people were noticing my belly, I'm slender to start with and I'm not hiding these 3 babies very well! Will probably wait until after the NT scan to tell the rest of the families and friends. Nothing really special in mind. On FB I might just say something like "After a long journey, Baby Navy 2A, 2B, and 2C will be arriving sometime early in the new year".

Had an ultrasound earlier this week with OB (first visit) and it all went well.  Huge relief!  NT scan is scheduled for 9/3.  I was able to stop taking the estrogen on Monday this week, and my morning sickness (which was previously all day every day) has drastically improved??  Not sure if there is a correlation, but I am just trying to enjoy it without worrying! 

QOTD: All of my family and our close friends already know since we were open about our IVF journey, but DH told all of his out of town family after our good u/s earlier this week.  As far as FB, I don't know if I'll even announce there.  Just not feeling it.  I feel like the important people in my life know and the periphery will find out eventually!  Maybe I'll change my mind, but this process has robbed me of any surprise updates or cutesy announcements so no interest in doing it for the FB world.

Nothing new with me this week.  Still pukey and tired, which at least reassures me that I'm still pregnant.  First OB visit is on Monday, hopefully I'll get another peek at the little one then!

I'm not planning on doing any announcement.  I told my mom and sis as soon as I got a positive pee stick, and I told my grandma last week.  She said "I thought you were, but I didn't want to ask and be nosy".  I her.

Hey ladies, I am 12w2d and time seems to be flying by.  My back/hips are numb from the PIO and delestrogen which actually helps because sometimes I don't even feel the needle anymore.  I was told to continue until 11 weeks but they said it was ok to just finish our vials.  Tonight will be my last two IM shots!!  NT scan went great and we are waiting for bloodwork to come back.  I am not scheduled for another ultrasound until 18 weeks which seems like forever away.  We will probably do an elective ultrasound before than.

Most of our friends and family knew about us doing IVF and a lot of them know where we are at.  Next week we may come out to everyone since we will be 13 weeks and may say something on facebook like "After a long journey and with the help of modern medicine..."  A bumpie friend (Crystal) mentioned doing a collage and putting a picture of her embryos up too.  I really like the embryo idea so I might also post a picture of our embryo!

Hi, everyone! Congrats to our newcomers and to those graduating to 2nd tri! Hugs to those who need them, too!

I'm 12w4d today - it's hard to believe the end of first tri is near! I'm feeling much better than I was a couple of weeks ago. I'm still experiencing s good bit of nausea, headaches, and back pain, but I'm ecstatic to be off of all meds!!! Hopefully I'll just be feeling better and better.

QOTW: We actually just started announcing this past week. I decided to go ahead and let my extended family know before the wedding we went to last weekend. I thought it would be a good trial-run to see how I would feel telling just a small group of people. It went really well until my drunk uncle got up in front of the entire rehearsal dinner and toasted my pregnancy. That was interesting.

Then we waited until Tuesday to surprise DH's grandmother with the news on her birthday. The news spread through his extended family from there, and we both told our friends and coworkers this week. It's been fun.

We probably won't make a FB announcement until ~20wks, unless we decide to just wait until the birth. FB announcements aren't really our thing... I'd rather celebrate with people in person.

I had an ER scare earlier this week, and they found sch on the ultrasound. Pelvic rest until further notice but otherwise babies are doing well. 

qotw: Went well, actually. I had posted a pic of two birds with 2 eggs in a nest, and it read "we are proud to announce we are filling the nest". I had to do it at around 10 weeks on FB because one of my aunts posted a comment or something that was going to give away our lil "secret". Ugh.

Nothing new here, still feel nauseas most the time with continuos constipation and intermittent headaches. I am 12w2d and have nt scan next Wednesday. I graduated from my re on Tuesday, so bittersweet.

Qotd: we are making a collage of pictures for FB that we will probably post after our scan next week. I had wanted to put a picture of our embie but dh doesn't want to. He is very tight lipped about ivf and doesn't want the attention, questions, I don't really know but I'll respect it and not put it in there. Most of our friends and family know already so it's basically just the people that we haven't talked to or seen in 10 years and won't see for another 10 lol.

Please add me pregnant with baby #1 thanks to IVF Edd 4/3/14!! 7w1d today and just extreme exhaustion for me right now making a baby is tough!
QoTD a lot of family and friends new early on bc of them praying us through the IVF process...but we are going to the beach next weekend and I plan to take a picture of my flip flops, my hubby's, and a cute baby pair in the middle that says something like "new beach bum coming April 2014"..I think that is significant for us bc we got married on the beach and have always found it to be a very special place for us as a couple

Can I be added? 9 weeks pregnant with 1 bean(Turtle) due 03/16/2014. I had an ultrasound with the RE today and got to see Turtles feet just kicking up a storm. We also graduated to our OB!

We don't really have anything planned for a general announcement, but we did just tell the in-laws this last weekend. We did it with a card that said "Thank you for being great parents... and great parents get promoted to GRANDparents." They were both shocked and excited:-)

Please add me. I am 3 weeks,5 days (12DPIUI) and have been getting positives for several days now.

My first beta was yesterday and it was 76. Progesterone was 27.3 and will continue the crinone through 1st tri. I'm cautiously coming over to the pregnant boards after TTC and IF for 2 years. 2nd beta is Monday and first scan is TBD.

My EDD is April 28, 2014.

Ok I finally feel comfy to post here lol. We had our u/s last tues. And saw 2 beautiful heartbeats, and heard them. I measured perfectly, so I graduated to ob for 8/26.

Due Date was 4/4/14, but with twins they will be changing. Yaay!

Hello!  I'm going to cautiously dip my toes in land of First Trimester!!!  We had our first ultrasound last week on 8/13 (I was 5wks2d along) and they saw two sacs!  I will be going in for another ultrasound tomorrow.  Our EDD is 4/13/13.  I'm being cautiously optimistic as this is my first BFP!!!
