Last week Updates:
Congratulations to adamnkel who gave birth to her DD Madeline Roberta at 37w2d weighing 4lbs. 8oz. and measured 17 inches! Madeline is in the NICU and on CPAP would have been there no matter what size according to mom. She is hoping that her BP stablizes so that she gets to visit DD soon and does not have to be put of mag sulfate.
Congratulations to L&R70707 for the birth of her DD Elizabeth Avery at 37w1d weighing 7lbs. 8oz.! Elizabeth is in the NICU at this time after having several episodes of coughing up mucus, choking, then turning blue. According to mom, they should be home in a couple of days.
Please keep their LOs in your thoughts and prayers for a short and uneventful NICU stay.

CurlingRocks: Enjoying being 34 weeks and got lots of nesting done! OB gave 75% chance of making term if not full 40 and successful VBAC! Yay! Your EDD is special since I was born on the same day. ;-)

@alphaphi98 I am so happy to hear that all tests came back normal and baby is healthy!!!
She did great last night and hopefully we will get into a routine soon.
In still having weekly cervical length u/s and they're showing no change! Yayyy!! Everyday is such a miracle.
But, I'm still having weekly p-17 injections and horrible, painful contractions. I was a bit discouraged this week when the MFM told me that there was probably no change in my cervix when I had Prom at 31 wks with my son. So with these contractions my cervix might be weakening, and there isn't anything that they can do about it.
But, I'm hanging in & looking forward to hitting the 27-28 wk mark.
And in other news, folks on my BMB were celebrating that they just hit 24 wks. I quickly burst their bubbles by letting them know what a 24 weeker would be like. Ugh it's so annoying.
@vsalt31 I am relieved and ecstatic to read an update from you! Woohoo for no cervical changes! I am sorry that you are still feeling painful contractions, but please don't let your MFM discourage you with that news. One step at a time and we will all keep you positive (along with your friends and family) to get you as close to term as possible. That's what kept me sane the whole time I was on bed rest. I know it is next to impossible to not think of how many more weeks you have to go, but setting little goals really helps out. Mini celebrations were very important to me as I am sure they will be to you!
I also understand your feelings about the folks on your BMB. I don't really have time to bump that much since DD has been born, so every time I am on here, I just check out this board. But I remember similar posts around the same time. I also remember being happy reaching 24 weeks knowing that they would try to resuscitate my daughter if she was born at that time. People really have no clue what it takes to have a full term healthy baby. Hang in there! When is your next appt?
