I put DD on the floor today to make a bottle, on her back to which she usually immediately flips over, so I went into the kitchen. When I turned around to come back in the room she was sitting up!! I know she's a little late compared to what I read on here but I am so excited.

Yay! Don't worry about your LO being late on some things. DD still isn't pushing herself up to sitting, although she doesn't seem too far away from that.

Awesome! My DD actually did the same thing today! I was so excited, especially cause she's on the chunky side and thought it would be hard for her to pull herself up!

DD actually still doesn't get herself into a seated position, she pulls herself to standing and will walk if she's pushing a box in front of herself but still won't sit on her own.

That's exciting!! My DS is only just starting to sit for any length of time and the only way he will is if I put him in a sitting position, he's never shown any interest in sitting by himself.

Cool!  DS isn't putting himself into a sitting position, yet.  He scoots and army crawls but once he is finished with that he flaps his arms and cries, like a sky-diver going nowhere.  He also seems to forget, from time to time, that he can flip over.

I know, DS just started doing this this week. One moment he was flat on his belly playing and the next he was in a seated position. He does it all the time now...so crazy! Our babies are growing up soooo quick!
