LO is 3.5 months. I can't rock him for long anymore because he's just too heavy. He really likes movement to go to sleep, but not even the swing is cutting it (and honestly, he's getting too big for it as well). Is it too early to place baby in his crib and let him fall asleep himself? I have a video monitor so obviously I have my eye on him and I would go in there if he was crying etc. Currently he's just laying in the crib looking around and making noises to himself. I know he is tired because he just fell asleep on me so I took him up, swaddled him and placed him to his bed. I dont think he will fall asleep on his own, but im hoping that maybe one day it will work. quiet time alone in the crib is ok, right?
I used to be so good at this napping/sleeping thing but then he changed everything and it's made it so much more difficult. he really needs his sleep otherwise he is a cranky baby, like all other babies I'm sure. Why does he fight sleep so much??
