DD & I saw it yesterday.  It was $12 for both of us so the same price.  The popcorn & drinks were more than the tickets!   I hope you & the girls enjoy.

DH took the boys to see it on Sunday while I was at a concert for work.  He said it was ok.  He liked Turbo better.

  • My brother was telling me he read an article that said they (Planes and Turbo) were basically the same movie. DS wouldn't sit through the end of either, so I don't really know.

Predictable, not funny or clever at all. DD loved it. I fell asleep.

  • I loved turbo so much better than epic. Anyway I always drop $50 when I take the kids to the movies. One can not watch a movie without popcorn.
  • We went last night - his first time!  We had the free ticket ($10 off) from buying $25 worth of Planes stuff at TRU.  It would have $28 for 3 of us without it. Ouch.  He really loved going!  I thought the movie was cute.  Not a blockbuster, but it didn't deserve to go straight to DVD either.

Bt you spent more buying the crap at Target right?
  • Nope.  Sunday was his birthday and my sister got it with his gift.  In the future we'll probably go to earlier shows but we wanted to all go together and can't go on the weekend so we went at night.  He now loves Dusty Crophopper but I bet it's mostly because it's fun to say!

I didn't eat a kernel.  The kids shared a small popcorn and small soda.
  • We really liked the movie.  DD3 (she's 3) wouldn't sit still, so I am glad she is little and it was a kid movie so no one was disturbed.  The other two girls loved it and sat really nice.
  • H took DS last Friday. DD doesn't like the theater...she says it is too loud. DS loved it and H said it was ok for a kids movie. DS liked it so much he talked my mom into taking him to see it again.
