Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Two under two

Mission accomplished, we are pregnant again (and for the last time).  We will have our second baby join us next spring and we are super thrilled, and a little terrified to have two under two.  YIKES!  Yes, we did this on purpose.  My husband will be back on Sea Duty in 2015 (and up for deployment) and I need to have both of our children at least on a regular sleep schedule, and able to feed themselves somewhat, before he goes so I can have a little sanity.

Does anyone have any advice for having two under two?  Anyone been there?

Re: Two under two

  • I'm about to b there. DS 2 due in 7 weeks. DS 1 turns 1 next week! We've gotten very serious about sleep training. Try not to over think juggling 2 sleep schedules, feedings, baths, etc. These things always having a way of working out. U have no idea how you're going to do it, but u will! U just adapt and find out it wasn't as impossible as you thought. Congrats and good luck!

  • Thanks!  We were pretty successful with sleep training with our daughter at 6-7 months... hopefully we can get there with baby #2 around the same age.  Other than that, just looking forward to rolling with it and adapting to life as it changes :)

    Thanks all!
