Anyone else have fibroids?

At my last monthly OB appointment at 23 weeks my OB mentioned that the u/s tech said I had two fibroids that had grown some between my 12 week and 19 week scans and are now 1.2cm and 1.8cm.  She didn't seem concerned because of where they are located, but I wanted to see if anyone else has dealt with these?  

Can growing fibroids cause problems for the baby or for labor?  I don't go back to the OB for a couple of weeks, but I will definitely ask her during my next appointment.

I do. Depending on the location and size it could cause issues. But most women with fibroids during pregnancy don't interfere with pregnancy or delivery. When they grow and there is not enough blood supply they can deteriorate and cause cramping. If your OB isn't worried you should be fine they will just keep an eye on its size.

I have a pendunculated fibroid, on the outside of my uterus. All my doctors said it won't be a problem because it isn't inside the uterus. Do you know where yours is?
If your ob isn't concerned, I think you're okay.

Thanks ladies, I believe my OB said mine are on the outside of my uterus, so it sounds like I should be ok.

I remember seeing one at one of my early U/S, but nobody seemed concerned.  *shrugs*
