Jumperoo and Exersaucer

I want to get the jumperoo and exersaucer out of storage and cleaned up while I still have the sun and warm weather and before I go back to work Monday. But then I'll probably just keep them in the nursery/our room until DD is ready for them.

She'll be 3 months on the 27th. She holds her head up pretty consistently and is somewhere between 11-12 pounds and 24 inches. When is she ready for these toys?

I put my LO in hers around 3 1/2 months.   I just stuffed the exersaucer with receiving blankets, to help better support her, since the bucket seat on mine is pretty big.  We just got a jumparoo (she's 4 1/2 months) she LOVES it!! I have to put blankets on the ground, because she can't quite reach the ground yet, but she goes nuts in that thing!

Ok, thanks! DD1 went nuts in her jumperoo too! It cracked me up! But we didn't end up buying it for her until she was around 6-7 months. I can't remember when we started her in the exersaucer, but I remember using blankets for awhile too.

My DD has really good head control and was in her jumperoo at 3 months. I put a book under her feet and a blanket behind her back and let her play in there no more than 20 mins. at a time (usually around 10, but sometimes a little more). She LOVES movement, so it was a win for us and she does really great with it!

Thanks ladies. I think I might try her out in it and see how she does in a couple of weeks.
