Just bought a conv car seat manuf. date says 1/13 should I return it for a newer date?

That's only 8 months ago so I don't think that's worth returning it.  If it was more than a year, I would.  Plus, if it isn't one you're going to use as a booster, you're probably going to switch out of it long before it expires anyway.

I wouldn't that is a pretty new seat. You can't really expect to find seats manufactured close to the same date you buy them. They have to shipped out to stores distribution centers, shipped to the stores, rotated with the old merchandise they have on hand etc. Anything within a year I would consider good.

The very kind supervisor at bed bath beyond is shipping me a new one requesting the vendor do a differ lot # she said which ever one is older ship it back to us.
