What size bike does your kid ride and how old are they? DS got a 12-inch bike at 3 and a 16 inch last year at 5.5 and his knees are up to the handlebars and the seat is raised as high as it can be. What a freaking waste of money which honestly the bike shop told me but he was not comfortable on a bigger bike at the time. I am so glad i bought it at Toys R Us instead of the more expensive one! So now I am going to have to get him a 20 inch definitely by next summer if not sooner. How long is this realistically going to last him?

Last year at 3 DS got a 12inch and SS got a 10inch. DS has taken the training wheels off and the 12 inch is perfect for him.

I guess it depends on how fast he grows. Seems like he got at least 3 years out of it...I think that's pretty good!
