Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p, New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. Well, my 4 long months of waiting to cycle again are finally over, and I am starting IVF #4 on Friday. I never imagined having to get to #4, but I know none of us do. When I picked up my meds today, and the guy told me which to refrigerate, he then quickly said "oh ya, you already know that. It's not your first rodeo here." And I followed it up with "And unfortunately, it's not my 2nd or 3rd either." Ugh, this totally blows!!!!
Anyway, I am doing the EPP this round and was curious to hear some of your experiences with it. I know everyone's situation is completely different, and we all respond differently to the meds, but I just thought I would ask. I really don't know anything about this protocol. It seems to be less common, since most clinics batch cycle, and this one is based off your individual cycle. From what I have read, it is common in women with DOR and poor responders. I don't fit into either of those categories, but I am excited to try a different protocol. I think I am most excited that I did NOT have to take bcp's! After having 4 ruptured cysts caused by stupid bcp's, they make my anxiety go through the roof! I am a little concerned that I am supposed to take 300 iu's of Gonal-F. I have only ever done 150 and 225 and responded very well. This seems really high for someone that is not a poor responded, no?
Well, if any of you can share tips, advice, experiences...I would greatly appreciate it! Also, if any of you CCRM girls have any words of wisdom, I will take those too! Thanks!!

EPP feels long in one way and short in another because you're not doing BCPs. I liked it overall.
I too am a good responder to drugs and not considered DOR. I stimmed for 11 or 12 days(AH! I can't remember, I think 11) we usually did 9 in the past 3 cycles. We got 43 eggs retrieved, 10 mature (this is our main issue with my side of our problems) and we had 6 beautiful blasts to biopsy. 3 of those came back normal and well graded. I had no problems with OHSS because C.CRM used an HCG and Lupron trigger for me. They are VERY good at managing that element of it.
What else can I try to answer?

Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14
After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14

IVF#3(4/13) Natural start antagon protocol, 12R,11F. one PGS normal at day 6 transfer. BFN.
IVF#4 (11/13) C.CRM (ODW.U normal 8/13 Still no Diagnosis) EPP/antagonist. ER 13R/7M/6F. Only 1 made it to freeze. Abnormal. Looking into options of DE, Fresh vs frozen.
10/14 new local RE to look into what's next. CD3 FSH 4.7, AMH 0.9. Met with DE agencies and exploring options for feb/march 2015.
Surprise natural bfp (4 days before donor is signed). Beta #1 at 9dpo: 51.8, 2nd beta: 195 (25 hours doubling) @11dpo. 3rd beta (12/15): 516 (35 hrs doubling) 4th beta(12/17): 895 (58 hours doubling) 5th beta(12/19): 2120. U/S at 5w0d(12/22): one gestational sac with yolk sac. U/S #2 (6w0d)12/29. One little bean measuring 6w0d with HR 124. 3rd u/s(1/4)7w0d: baby measuring 7w2d. EPP Antagonist was not a good protocol for me. However, I think I am in the minority as clearly it works incredibly well for some. I stimmed for 12 days and only ended up with two mature eggs. I was told that it is a quality over quantity protocol, however Bzeety response would seem to negate that. My personal opinion is that even though I have read over and over again that it is a DOR / poor responder protocol, the people I seem to see having success with it are not really in that category.

Our beautiful little girl arrived January 2015!
I did estrogen priming with no BCP for this cycle (in addition to several other changes). I do have mild DOR and respond poorly to stims.
I had 16 eggs, 10 mature and all 10 fertilized. Transfered a blast and early blast and froze one. This is is my best response so far as I've never before had blasts to freeze.
My other cycles were:
#1 8R/8M/4F
#2 11R/6M/4F
#3 11R/6M/6F

PAIF/SAIF welcome!
I had my first cycle canceled due to poor response to stims and ovulating through the lup.. My next cycle will be with EPP... no BCP, but keeping the same Lup. Foll, and Meno. I just pray it works. I am excited to read all the success stories.
