XP About to throw in the towel!!! Big Vent session!

Ok so went yesterday to the RE office to have fluid sono to make sure everything was in order after the miscarriage to move onto a frozen transfer. Well RE attempted multiple times to get speculum in the correct place to view things however he could not seem to get it to work. After 3 different types of speculums and multiple shoving attempts I was in tears!!! He finally said stop we will just take her to hysteroscopy since it appears on sono she had a septum in uterus! Ok I am a nurse and I do have some knowledge but I was like what a septum in the uterus?!?! So apparently he said it is a abnormal shaped uterus and the only way to fix it is yep surgery again :( I got so upset! I was just in surgery I feel like where they were suppose to check for all these things. He said since surgery was done with OB she probably didnt know what she was looking for so he really wants me to do surgery again! I told DH I just feel so down right now like I can't catch a break! I just feel everytime I take one step forward I get knocked back about 50 steps!!! So we are on the schedule for surgery next thursday! Anyone have any experiece with this? The consent for surgery is for a hysterscopic metroplasty !?!

5/5/12 DH had SA and numbers look great

7/2102 50mg dose of clomid with ovulation and timed sex no results

8/12 Clomid cylce #3- no success

8/30 Went to see RE and we have decided to move onto IUI attempts

10/18 IUI#1 BFN and cyst developed so on hold

11/17 IUI cycle #2 BFN
IUI #3,4,5,6 =BFN

First round of IVF- 2 fresh transfered Beta=20, 37 than ended in M/C- Will do frozen transfer in Sept!

    i'm so sorry emt. I don't have experience but hope it moves you forward to a successful FET.

    I'm sorry!  I would have been in tears, too.  I don't have experience with it, but I hope everything goes smoothly!

    I don't have experience with this, but I am so sorry! FX that this surgery gets everything in order!!

    I'm so sorry :(  What an awful experience for you. Before signing up for another surgery I'd get another opinion about the severity of the septum.  I have one too, and my RE said although surgery will fix it, she doesn't see any need (and all her partners agreed) unless it starts causing multiple miscarriages because it doesn't directly affect fertility and many, many women have completely normal pregnancies with them, especially if they're minor.  I'd want to know if it was the cause of your loss before subjecting yourself to more invasive procedures -- it could have been just be an awful coincidence.  If it's a complete septum it's a different story, but I find that very unlikely if it wasn't seen by your OB (a complete septum divides the uterus completely in half -- hard to miss even if you aren't looking for it!).

    06/12-10/12- Clomid/Femara + trigger + TI + P4 = 3 BFNs, hysteroscopy, polypectomy, D&C
    11/12 - 7.5 mg Femara + trigger + IUI + P4 = BFN
    12/12 - Surprise BFP ectopic (MTX 01/13)
    04/13 - Off the Bench! 7.5 mg Femara + trigger + IUI #2 + estradiol + P4 = BFN
    05/13 Clear HSG-5 mg Femara + Menopur + trigger + IUI #3 + P4 = BFP ectopic (MTX 07/03 & 07/11)
    07/23 emergency lap to remove ectopic mass and left tube
