At home I have been making different flavored water (like watermelon and mint) to WANT to drink more, but I still don't feel I get enough throughout the day. How do you all get enough water into your bodies?
I carry around a Camelback 750ml water bottle. I make sure I take it when I go to run errands and always keep it next to me in the house. Sometimes I'll mix it with 50% juice (like cran-apple)..drink down some and refill with water numerous times to keep diluting it. You can also try putting fresh fruit in your water bottle (strawberries, lemons/limes, oranges, melon, cucumber is good too).
I've been drinking water like I just got rescued after a week wandering in the desert. I keep my work coffee mug filed with water, a full glass next to me at all times at home, and I'm still thirsty enough to stop at every water fountain I see during the day. I'm always parched!
If you are having a hard time drinking water this early on, you are in for it around the end of the second trimester when you don't want to drink anything else and you start to feel like you're floating, lol. I also drink it with a straw/lid, and every now and then I'll do Crystal Light.
I think I am wasting my "space" on the juices I make in the morning. I assumed there would be mostly water in them, but (TMI) my urine isn't always clear. It's never dark, like I am dehydrated, I just assume it should be super light with all the agua I am already drinking. I feel full all the time.
I'm a lid and straw girl too, and it has to be really cold. I also drink it sparkling. I have a soda stream to make my own. I'll sometimes mix sparkling water with unsweetened cranberry juice. It lets me feel like I'm drinking a soda.

I drink more if its from a water bottle or a lid with straw. I have a hard time drinking water at home but when I'm at work or out and about its easier. Sucks because I hate the taste of water in the first trimester. Makes my stomach turn!! Plus I drink most of my water in the late afternoon/evening. I can't drink it before then. Uhg!
I use a Camelback as well. If you don't have a problem with artificial sweetener (I don't), those little squirt drink mixes like Mio are good to mix it up as well.
For some random reason I always drink more water when I have a cup with a lid and straw. Maybe it would work for you as we'll?
This!! The straw makes it so easy to drink a lot of water without realizing it!! At my work and at home we have a water cooler so it's easy to fill up on the go!

Realistically, I don't ever drink enough. I love plain water, so it's not a matter of boredom. I keep a bottle with me all the time, I just sip on it and probably only end up with 32-40oz daily.
I just naturally drink a lot of water. I also have a camelbak and I drink 2 of those at work and then another 2 when I get home. Even before pregnancy I did this, I just use the bathroom more now.
I'm a bit crazy but have always drank a lot of water. I hate water that is cold so I am always drinking room temp water. I noticed that I get cramps now if I don't drink enough throughout the day- which motivates me to drink more even if I don't feel like it.
I agree with the others...STRAWS help so much! I fill my large tervis with ice and water and use a straw to drink it. I end up filling it up numerous times in a day.

Ditto. For the first couple weeks I couldn't drink enough but I have since slowed down. Even when I'm thirsty I have to force myself to drink because I'm just so full and miserable and bloated and if I drink too much I feel like puking. Blerg. I'm in for a(nother) miserable pregnancy since I'm already so blah.
A straw helps me too!! And I squirt pure lemon juice into it and use lots of ice to keep it really cold! The lemon juice gives it some flavor and the sour flavor settles my stomach. I wasn't a big water drinker before, but standing most of the day I swell and cramp if I don't get enough!!
For me the big thing is to have a large cup/water bottle already filled up & ready to drink. Most of the ones I have are large enough that if I fill it twice I drink enough. It makes it a lot easier to keep track, too.

I have more cucumbers than I know what to do with so I have been adding cucumber slices. I also drink more if I keep a water bottle with a lid and straw nearby. The only problem I have is that my toddler always wants what I have so he is always stealing my water bottle!
I HATE drinking water so this stinks. I always told myself "when I get pregnant I'm going to be so good and drink massive amounts of water." Yeah, can't do it. I just blame it on nausea (which is probably partially caused by dehydration) sigh.
I have a camelbak water bottle also. I am also just a big water drinker in general pregnant or not. I live in a very dry climate and have always liked it.
My office is freezing cold, so while everyone else drinks coffee I have hot water. I've always done this so they are over the weirdness of my hot water breaks and not suspicious!
Re: How are you drinking water during the day?
I drink it with lemon at work and I drink carbonated water at home with lemons and limes.
My work drink also has a lid and a straw.
