PSA: danger of internet-based monitors

Sorry if this has been posted before, but my dad just sent me a link to this story about a couple's internet-based baby monitor getting hacked, and having a stranger try to talk to their toddler through it. Freaky right?? https://fox8.com/2013/08/13/warning-for-parents-baby-monitor-hacked/
