Hello Lovely Ladies,
Hope you are all doing well. I am finally out of the hospital (a week in there was more than enough). My blood pressure decided that it would climb to 180 / 80 and stay there - ugh. But now it is back down and I am home.
How is everyone doing? I have missed you guys so much!

Hi PA! Glad to see you back as a SAIF'er! Congrats and happy to hear you finally made it out of the hospital safely.
Liz - sorry the lupron sucks but glad things are really starting to move forward now!
AFM, I'm in this limbo stage where I don't even know if I should call myself PAIF or not. I feel like I've done it so many times before. I'm patiently waiting for my u/s on Friday and scared to death something will happen before then. I've yet to ever see/hear a heartbeat.
One of my long time friends is coming over on Thursday night with some other girlfriends and the cat will be out of the bag when I'm not drinking (I know some of you can get away with it, I will not). I wouldn't really care except that I'm in her wedding in December...and we already bought our really expensive dresses. And I'm afraid she'll be mad at me. Part of me thinks I was rude to do an IVF when I did, and part of me thinks that after almost 5 years of TTC I can't always wait for the "right" time. Oh well.

Bee: I'm KMFX that your uls is perfect and you will feel more PAIFish. Also, after 5 years TTC your friend had better not be mad that you're PG!! A wedding is one day and you are trying to build a family to last a lifetime.
AFM: I haven't heard back from the donor since last Wednesday. Maybe she's busy or on vacation or fell off the face of the earth, who knows. I'm having a hard time feeling like I'm at the mercy of someone else for something that should only involve DH & I. It makes me want to try IVF again, but then I think about the cost and the huge possibility of it not working. I vacillate between wanting to give up and be CF and wanting to win the lottery or rob a bank so I can try with my OE.

IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.

10/14 new local RE to look into what's next. CD3 FSH 4.7, AMH 0.9. Met with DE agencies and exploring options for feb/march 2015.
Surprise natural bfp (4 days before donor is signed). Beta #1 at 9dpo: 51.8, 2nd beta: 195 (25 hours doubling) @11dpo. 3rd beta (12/15): 516 (35 hrs doubling) 4th beta(12/17): 895 (58 hours doubling) 5th beta(12/19): 2120. U/S at 5w0d(12/22): one gestational sac with yolk sac. U/S #2 (6w0d)12/29. One little bean measuring 6w0d with HR 124. 3rd u/s(1/4)7w0d: baby measuring 7w2d. HR 134. 3/30: A/S at MFM went great except for low lying placenta. Verifi results are normal! Team Blue! Please send any positive thoughts our way! EDD:8/24/2015
Baby Will born 8/18. He's perfect.
AFM: I went to the RI and had my first u/s today at 5w5d, although the tech kept trying to argue with me and used a false LMP stating that I'm 5w today even though Im not. *ugh* anywhos....so the u/s showed twins! both have gestational and yolk sacks, though B's yolk sack was harder to see and overall B measured about 2 days behind. She frequently reminded me that B might not make it. Gee thanks buzzkillington. However, when I met with the NP afterwards, she was totally fine with their size, agreed with me about my dates and EDD and even told me my bloodflow was right in the range it was supposed to be. So that made it much better. They did a bunch of labwork, and so far everything that's come back today all looks good. I go to the RE on Fri for my first u/s with him, and back to the RI next week.

3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!
Late to the check-in. I am rooting for all those cycling or about to be.
Bee: the wait for the first ultrasound was worse than the betas for me. I am sure things will go great!!! GL!

Liz: Lupron headaches are the worst. They went away for me shortly after I started estrogen supplementation.

AFM: I can't believe how fast time is going by. We are 12w1d today. I was cleared yesterday for sessiness (on restrictions due to spotting). Hooray! I have been having to fight to get one of the genetic blood tests on LO done since I am not "high risk for a chromosomal abnormality." I had the maternit21 drawn which we planned to pay OOP for only to have the lab cancel the test due to not having an indication (not over 35, no family history of chromosomal abnormality). Today I had the panorama test drawn and FX it will be run and we won't be charged an arm and a leg. The rep has assured me that she will amend any bill I receive.

Married June 2011 Dx: anovulatory due to prolactinoma (1.5cmx 1.5cm in 2006)
April 2012: MRI- questionable cyst 8mg by 12mm in pituitary ; referred to RE by Ob-gyn after amenorrhea x 4+ months, provera ineffective, low estrogen level
cycle 1: May 2012, clomid 50mg; cycle cancelled, thin lining, no response
cycle 2: June 2012, femara 5mg; cycle cancelled, no response
cycle 3: July 2012, femara 7.5mg; cycle cancelled (largest folli on Cd12 & cd 16: 11, lining 4)
Repeat MRI July 25,2012- Cyst unchanged, likely old infarction.
Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal
Aug. 23: HSG all clear; DH- perfect
Switched to a new RE in early Sept. IVF here we come
Genetic testing reveals: Fragile X- Intermediate risk/grey zone.
IVF#1: ER 11/30: 14 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized. E2 prior to trigger 5200. Decision made to freeze 6 embryos and transfer later due to OHSS.
IVF#1.2/FET #1: estrogen injects start 1/18, FET delayed to try to thicken lining. lining 5.4mm. FET- 2/18- transferred one 3AA expanded blast. BFP 5dp5dt. Beta #1- 2/27 9dp5dt- 102.27 beta #2 3/1: 147
FET # 2: endometrial scratch 5/6, added estrace vaginally and ASA to delestrogen and PIO. June 10- transferred one 4AA hatched embryo, BFP 4dp6dt, Beta 1 (9dp6dt) 187, Beta 2 (11dp6dt): 412; Beta 3 (15dp6dt ): 4452. U/S #1- one beautiful embryo with a heartbeat of 133 at 7 weeks. 8 weeks: heartbeat 156. EDD 2/26/2014: born 2-3-14 induced due to Pre-E and HELLP at 36w5d.
12/1: met with RE to discuss trying for #2
