DD made it to term, but nicu anyway
I was induced yesterday at 37w1day because of Cholestasis. Aside from the induction part it was so different from delivering DS...started at 7am and she was here at 1:30pm. Aside from a momentary concern about body temp and blood sugar levels (cue the tears because that is what landed DS in the NICU) everything went great and we made it to post partum like a normal full term delivery should. At about 10pm last night she coughed up some mucus, choked and turned blue during her diaper change. They got her oxygen up pretty quick but the episodes happened a few more times so into the NICU she went. Big picture wise things are looking good and she should be home in a few days, but I am emotionally drained and trying hard not to feel bitter that our shot at a happy and relatively panic/worry free hospital stay is gone.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

I am so sorry that your happiness was short lived.. I cannot imagine how hard that has to be for you. I pray that she will be home with you quickly... I know it is said too often but this isn't fair.
