Okay. Well, Roxie comes to mind. Also, there are a lot of formal names with punchy, boyish NNs, such as:

Charlotte NN Charlie
Francesca NN Frankie
Raquel NN Rocky

I would put Piper and Marley in this category. Maybe Carly? Some old-school boys' names on girls, like Billie, Bobby, and Dusty have that same feel with a retro twist.

Josie, Janis, Jana, Margo, Dawn, Regina, Fionna, Collene, Nora, Carmen, Roxie, Libby, Cybil, Mimi. Hitting anything? I personally like these names but I like different names. I think of names from the 60's/70's I guess when I think "rocker girl".

I call my Olivia "Olive" because I think she's spunky ... so Olive, to me, is a better NM than Liv. She was born with a tuft of hair sticking straight up like a baby mohawk, and her personality seems to fit. I believe Drew Barrymore named her daughter Olive, not a nn.
