cut finger

=[ My DH was trying to cut our LO's nails yesterday and she jerked in her sleep from a fart and he accidentally cut the tip of her finger. It looks a little red today and seems to be irritating her some (she fusses when she grabs toys with that hand). Is there any kind of ointment or anything that's safe to put on it? Or should we just leave it alone and not worry?

This happened with our DS.  We just left it alone and it was all healed up within a few days. If you put ointment on it, maybe you should cover her hand with a mitten or sock so it stays out of her mouth.

I'd use lanolin if you want to put something on it. You don't need to wipe it off your nipples before baby eats, so it's safe if it gets in her mouth.
