Not gaining weight.

Let me preface this by saying that my son eats like a black hole. 32 to 40 oz of formula a day, and 4 ounces of puree plus 2 tablespoons of oatmeal a day. But in the last 2 months he has only gained on pound, but 2 inches in height. Does that sound, normal? Has anyone else had this happen? He hasn't gained anything at all in the last month.

Our pediatrician said that plateauing right now is really common and completely normal.

Yep.  As long as there's nothing else of concern I wouldn't worry about weight gain at this point.

Yes, weight gain slows down a lot at this point and 1/2lb per month is definitely normal.

I'm glad to hear all this, DD hasn't been weighed/measured in a month & a half but she still seems so tiny! She has a baby-boyfriend who is 2 months younger than her and he's so much bigger than she is, she seems to be plateauing for sure.

Now that he's mobile he's actually lost a few ounces this week, I'm not worried though. He eats like crazy

This is how my DD was/is. DS, however, is a chunk! 

OP-I wouldn't worry. Two inches is a lot to gain in height/offset the weight, plus, as others have said, being mobile slows the gain down quite a bit!
