Just an AW

So, I think you all know that DH had gotten hurt at work in June.
It is a Workman's comp claim which has had no problems since being approved.
We hadn't turned any medications into workman's comp due to just forgetting to tell them.  Plus they were all like $8-$12 co-pays.

Then DH's blood clot comes up and he gets his medication filled.  It is a $277 co-pay for a 3 week supply.  We are then told after he gets out of hospital stay #2 that he will be on this med for another 6 months.  I tell the pharmacy about the workman's comp and it takes a day or two, but they get it paid, in full.  So, then they start looking into his meds and say they need to re-bill those in the last 6 weeks.  So, they get it all done (takes 2 days) and they call us for a $300 refund!

I am so thankful to the pharmacy for taking the time to look into this and for doing this for us.

  • Sweet.  And it's awesome that they took care of that for you, and that they did it so quickly!  I feel like anytime we have any insurance/rebilling issues it takes for.ev.er to get it resolved.
