No flames - but we've been having LO periodically sleep....at night in the RNP. Well, time has come for her to move into her own room. Anyone have experience with this transition? Do we go cold turkey? Do we first use the RNP without motion? Do we start in crib and move back to RNP if the night is horrendous. Right now she sleeps 10 hours straight. It's amazing. But, it's time...

I’m a modern man, a man for the millennium. Digital and smoke free. A diversified multi-cultural, post-modern deconstruction that is anatomically and ecologically incorrect. I’ve been up linked and downloaded, I’ve been inputted and outsourced, I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. I’m a high-tech low-life. A cutting edge, state-of-the-art bi-coastal multi-tasker and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond! I’m new wave, but I’m old school and my inner child is outward bound. I’m a hot-wired, heat seeking, warm-hearted cool customer, voice activated and bio-degradable. I interface with my database, my database is in cyberspace, so I’m interactive, I’m hyperactive and from time to time I’m radioactive.
DS slept in it for four or five months. I moved him when he started rolling and was getting to big for it. I put him in the crib for a nap one day and he liked having the space. The transition when pretty smoothly after that.
I haven't decided what to do with DD. She is still sleeping in it, and I really don't have a problem with keeping her there for awhile longer.
One suggestion is to start the transition by doing naps in the crib so that they get used to the space.
My DD slept in hers until she could pull up and roll out of it. Then she liked having the space. Why is it "time?" People make too big of a deal out of this "where they sleep" thing. If they're sleeping safely, and you're sleeping, then there's no problem.
