my 13 month old son just recently started waking up in the night again (most nights for about the past week-10 days). we just moved to a new home and i know he's teething, too, so it's likely those two things are causing the sleep regression. i know this is normal, but just wondering what you all have typically done during this? just kind of ride it out and it'll likely pass? or have you tried anything to help?
i'm starting to learn most things are a phase

but just thought i'd see if anyone had any ideas/tips that worked for them? we all need a good night's sleep again soon!
Re: 13 month old waking in the night again
When C does this I'll generally give her motrin at bedtime to see if that makes a difference. If she doesn't wake up that night, I put it down to teething and dose her as necessary. If she still wakes up, I tend to give her ten minutes or so to see if she'll go back to sleep on her own, and then either rub her back or rock for a bit if she can't. I don't think she's ever gone more than a week, though.
If your case, with the move as well, I'd start seeing if he needs more/less light at night. I know that around 9 months I had to take C's night light out of the room, because it would keep her awake if she stirred in the night. That, or is the room set up way differently? Can he see the door now when he couldn't before? GL!

When I go through sleep regression with DD, we just go with the flow. If she is teething and some motrin helps, then we dose accordingly. If she is going through a growth spurt and needs extra snacks or milk, then we give her that.
Hang in there!
