That's a really good idea. Then you don't have to worry about damp cloths sitting around and potentially getting smelly or gross, and then you have ample dry ones on hand in case. 

This mega diaper bag I registered for has a spot for a small wipe box so I'm not against using them, just not as a main resource. 

We use cloth wipes and I just put them dry in the diaper bag.  Save the peri bottle you get in the hospital.  Keep it filled with water, a couple drops of baby wash and tea tree oil, and squirt it on the wipes as needed.  Works perfect for us!

I thought I was going to be helpful and say wipe warmer ... but I see everyone beat me to it. Total waste.

Also, clothes. You are going to get clothes regardless -- perhaps more than you will ever need. Keep your registry focused on those must-haves.

So I guess we are the odd ones out but we liked our wipe warmer and I think dd liked it better as well. We only used it for the first few months until she was out of the colicky stage. Now we just use it to store the wipes. We also have a diaper genie right next to the changing table. Her poops stink! It works great from us and we change it when its full instead of running outside to throw her poop diapers away. Especially at night.

Definitely agree with everyone else on the bumbo!

 

So hard to know what will work for you and want wont.

Thanks everyone I really appreciate all the info! We have tiny and few garbages in the house so I will probably try the diaper genie or whatever, but everything else that everyone listed I have taken off my registry (or never had it on in the first place). Thanks ladies!
