Bottle feeding a baby that uses a nipple shield?

Okay, so apparently I'm full of questions today :-) I'm wondering what bottles have worked for babies who breast-feed with the nipple shield? After all of the suggestions, we tried them momma bottle by Lansinoh, but no luck for us! I feel like we've tried every bottle out there, and I'm already back at work and she's at home screaming hungry for me all day. It breaks my heart We started trying bottles when she was 7 weeks and now she's almost eleven weeks. DH is starting to get so frustrated he's losing his cool, making me want even less to leave him with her to offer her a bottle. Advice?

I just use the bottles that came with the medela pump system and E has had no issues between those and the nipple shield but she isn't very picky about anything we've tried.

The regular medela ones and tommee tippee, both work for us so we haven't had tried any others

I use both the Tommee Tippee and Medela pump bottles and my little guy has no problem going between those and the nipple shield. Good luck, hope you find one that works soon!

I would suggest the Medela calma - it's pricey but suppose to simulate that of a nipple

Well so far we've tried all of these except Tommee Tippee, which I have but just haven't opened yet. My concern is that it doesn't look similar to the nipple shield. Nothing else has worked though, so maybe it's time to try! Thanks for the advice ladies!

I was going to suggest the Medela Calma, too - I have never used it, but it's supposed to be good for BF babies.

We've used Playtex Drop-ins and the Medela bottles. We only used a nipple shield for a couple of weeks. She didn't seem to like the bottle at first, but we kept at it and now she's usually okay with it.

Oh no, I better start trying to give a bottle! We use a nipple shield and I didn't know some babies have a hard time switching to a bottle.

I EBF and use a shield. I bought the Breastflow bottles and my DS2 had no problems at all taking those A friend recommended them to me!

I want to add that I was nervous about DS2 taking the bottle but my SIL was like honestly, if they are hungry they will take it! She said she got all nervous about it for nothing and it went fine. I decided to follow her lead and luckily, 0 problems! GL!

Success! After several hungry, crying days, I tried playtex drop ins when she was hungry right after I pumped myself dry, and she took it from me! It took a little work to get her going, but then she sucked it down and went on to take two more from me and one from my mom! I'm almost nervous to declare this a success...hopefully today goes just as well!
