Doppler??

Did any of you multiples mamas rent or purchase a Doppler? I'm considering it to help me get thru the time between appts, but wonder if it will just cause more stress since there's two in there?! TIA

Re: Doppler??

  • I have the sonoline b and love it. But that being said if you are a worrier and think that if you can't find both it'll freak you out than I wouldn't get one.

It is more difficult to tell between the two and for that reason even my OB doesn't rely on the doppler and does an u/s at every appointment.

I also take the actual heartbeat rates with a grain of salt as well on the home machine. I'm happy if we can find two distinct ones and call it a day.

  • I also have the Sonoline B. It works pretty good but finding two heartbeats is rough, especially if they are really similar like mine. But just hearing them thumping away in there is reassuring. I got mine on Ebay for like $50.

  • It did cause a little more stress for me but it was also a reassurance when I could find both. It's a hard call.
