Hitting and Biting

How do you discipline when your child hits another child or you.... or bites.  Anyone doing time-outs?  If so, where is your time-out spot?  If no time-outs, what do you do/say?

Re: Hitting and Biting

  • We tend to say Logan that's not nice. Tell him/her you are sorry. We also tend to apologize. If we do a time out it usually is in his bed or high chair.

Lately it seems like the attitude is more to us :-( I think this is a stage to see their limits. Sigh

  • Hitting, I remove her from the victim (mostly me).

Biting, not much but telling her it hurts and give her something she can bite. The only reason she bites is because of teething. I know she's not doing it to be mean.
  • We do time out in the corner of her room.
