Hi ladies! Just wanted to start off on the right foot. My hubby and I are both 29 years old. We've been married for almost 2 years. I just went off the pill in July. I'm hoping we can start TTC in December. For now I'm just waiting for my cycle to go back to normal. I am like super giddy over the idea of trying. My husband is on board, but doesn't really get the whole temping, charting thing. He's like really, you have to do all that?! His approach may be a little more relaxed than mine. Haha. anyway, just wanted to say hi. Have a great day!

If you aren't planning on TTC until December, are you using back up methods of BC for now?

Have you started charting?  Or are you going to wait it out for a bit first?

Just started charting this morning no back up. Not really going to freak out if it happens before December. I did download fertility friend. Right now it's hard to tell where I am since my cycle hasn't really gone back to normal. I started taking prenatal vitamins when I stopped the pill. December was kind of the plan. But one of my girlfriends at work also stopped the pill a few months ago and just had a miscarriage. It scared me a bit. I would rather err on the side of knowing sooner than later if there might be fertility issues at some point.

For some people it takes awhile to get their bodies regulated, for others it doesn't. So it's good definitely good to chart to see that patterns. As long as there you are cool with the possibility of it happening before December then go for it. There are plenty of women who can tell you they got of the first month after the

It can take a healthy couple a year to conceive, but others it takes about 5 minutes.

Oh and about your friend recently going off the pill and then having a miscarriage - having been on pill in the past doesn't cause miscarriages and fertility issues later on down the road.

Welcome! Your friend's use of BC and having a miscarriage are related. Also, sadly one m/c does not equal fertility problems. Lurk a bit here and ttgp and you will gets lots of good information.
