I've been doing a little bit of research on sleep training and think I'm ready to try it with my daughter. The only problem I foresee is that me and my husband both work late into the evening. My schedule varies, and sometimes I'm off at 9 pm but I can work as late as 11:30 pm. My husband works till ten, but has a long commute and gets home after 11.
Currently, my daughter falls asleep anywhere from 1 to 2 am. Part of the reason I'd like to try sleep training is so me and my husband can have some time to ourselves at night. There are also times when I work day shifts, and being up that late at night makes for a really hard work day. Is it realistic to try and get her to fall asleep earlier when there's no guarantee that will be her bedtime every night?
