Two ovulation predictor tests with two different results- anyone experienced this?

Hi everyone

I started using the clear blue easy ovulation detector test (measures LH) this month. Right after I bought it, friends told me to use clear blue digital instead saying it was a better test. For the past month, I have been using both (yes- overdoing it I know!)

So at the beginning of the month, the clear blue digital (which measures estrogen and LH) gave me 5 days if smiley faces indicating high fertility. Last weekend, it indicated peak fertility. Throughout that time, the FR test was negative. Needless to say, my husband and I took those 5+ days seriously!

Today, the FRT test was positive.
A week later!

I have been temping but have not seen any significant changes this month yet.

Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? My husband and I have been having sex very often- even more so now that the FRT test said positive today.

I appreciate any insight! Should I not get a positive HCG this month, I am going to see my physician to ask her what may be going on! Wasn't sure if anyone may have experienced this or not!

Whoops- I bought first response and started using it first. Then bought and used clear blue digital and have been using them both.

I like the clear blue tests. I had a box of first response I bought and used them for the time it said along w the clear blue. The entire month I never got a positive on first response where I did w clear blue and confirmed w temp spike.
I now use wonderflos. Used to confirm w clearblue but now have the monitor.
I personally stay away from first response since using the last time. Felt like I wasted 30 dollars or however much they were.
This is me. Others might have better luck w them.

sorry I have not experienced this with those OPKs.  If you could link your chart that might be helpful.  I have gotten positives then another positive later because as you may know OPKs just tell you when your body is trying to ovulate not that it did.  Only charting can tell you that.  I know it is frustrating.... obviously when in doubt hump it out   Good luck!
